LightSail Launch Countdown

The Atlas V rocket carrying the Air Force X37B and LightSail is rolling out to the launch pad on Tuesday May 19th, 2015. The launch is scheduled for Wednesday May 20th, 2015, after which the LightSail spacecraft will test deployment of the sail. Solar sail flight test will happen on a later flight.
